AZ Freddie Mac Harp 2.0 Update April 2012

AZ Freddie Mac Harp Update

Freddie Mac

Arizona Harp 2.0 Loans

AZ Freddie Mac harp is scheduled to update their online system on June 15, 2012.  If you’ve applied for a AZ Freddie Mac Harp 2.0 loan and have been turned down, it might be a good idea to reapply.  Why?  Well the AZ Freddie Mac Harp online system had a lot of problems.  First of all, alot of home values were entered into the system incorrectly.  That in itself would cause an immediate loan denial.  Then, if your credit report showed too many inquiries within the last 90 days that would trigger a denial.  Also, if your credit card balances exceed 50% that would trigger a denial as well.  Apparently, the new version of AZ Freddie Mac Harp will resolve these issues.  There aren’t that many banks out there lending for the Freddie Mac Harp 2.0 program.  Therefore, turn times to close your loan are going to be slow.  We will get the job done but you can expect a 45 day wait if you have no mortgage insurance and even longer if you have mortgage insurance.

Do you have a Fannie Mae Harp loan?  We can do Fannie Mae Harp loans with unlimited loan to value ratios as well.  Give us a call and we’d be happy to go over the loan program with you.
